How do you pronounce Gleaux?
Gleaux is pronounced /glow/. Our unique spelling is inspired by New Orleans, where Gleaux Shop was founded in 2021.

Candles & Product Basics
How long will my candle last?
Our 8 oz candles burn for about 55 hours. To get the most out of your candle, please review our Candle Safety guidelines.
How do I care for my candle?
Our four essential safety tips are:
- Trim the wick to ¼” before each burn
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Place candles on a stable, heat-safe surface away from flammable objects

What size room will my candle fill with fragrance?
Our candles have strong throw; however, the scent distribution in your space will be dependent on if you have a central air system and the size of the room. Our 8 oz candles are the ideal choice for medium size spaces like offices, bedrooms, kitchens, moderate size living rooms, or media rooms.
What kind of wax do you use?
We use a coconut wax blend. Coconut wax accepts fragrance oils beautifully and in no way impacts the scent of the candles or gives them a coconut smell.
Orders & Shipping
How long does it take for my order to ship?
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Processing time is separate from shipping transit time.
How much is shipping?
Shipping rates are based on order total and package weight and are automatically calculated at checkout:
- Free standard or ground shipping on U.S. orders over $75
- Flat rate $7.99 for orders $75 and under with a total package weight of 1 lb or less
- Flat rate $9.99 for orders $75 and under with a total package weight over 1 lb
Orders ship from Kennewick, Washington (99336) using USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship within the contiguous United States only.
What if my package is delayed?
Shipping transit times vary by carrier and destination. Gleaux Shop is not responsible for shipping delays once a package has been transferred to the carrier.
Do you use eco-friendly packaging?
We package orders using eco-conscious materials whenever possible, including biodegradable packing peanuts, recyclable paper, and recycled void fill. Packaging choices may vary based on product size, protective needs, and seasonal shipping conditions.
How do you handle summer heat and shipping?
Candles and wax-based products may be sensitive to high temperatures during transit. During warmer months, we make every effort to ship orders at the beginning of the week to help minimize prolonged transit times and reduce the risk of heat exposure during delivery.
Despite these precautions, Gleaux Shop is not responsible for melting or heat-related issues once an order has been delivered, including packages left unattended after delivery, and cannot guarantee carrier handling conditions during transit.
What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may require an additional shipping fee to be resent.
Local Delivery
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes. Local delivery is available to customers located within 10 miles of Kennewick, Washington (99336).
- Free local delivery on orders $50 and over
Eligible local delivery orders are delivered within 1–2 business days after processing. If your order qualifies, this option will be available at checkout.
How do I add delivery instructions for local delivery?
For local delivery orders, please include any specific delivery instructions (such as gate codes, preferred drop-off locations, or delivery notes) in the Order special instructions box when viewing your cart.
Returns, Refunds & Damaged Items
Do you accept returns?
Yes. We accept returns for unused products for any reason, including if the scent isn’t the right fit.
Do you offer exchanges?
We do not offer direct exchanges. Customers are welcome to place a new order after their return has been completed.
What items are eligible for return?
To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition:
- Candles must be unlit
- Wax melts must be unbroken
- Incense must be unused and in its original packaging and quantity
How long do I have to request a return?
Return requests must be initiated within 14 calendar days of delivery. Once approved, returned items must be postmarked within 10 calendar days of approval to remain eligible for a refund.
How do I start a return?
Email lindsey@gleauxshop.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
How will I receive my refund?
Once a return is received and inspected, eligible refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear on your statement after processing. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please email lindsey@gleauxshop.com within 10 calendar days of delivery and include clear photos of the damaged item(s), the shipping box, and any packing materials.
Approved damaged items will be refunded or replaced at our discretion at no additional cost. Damage that occurs after delivery due to improper handling, storage, or use is not eligible for replacement or refund.
Damage claims submitted after 10 calendar days of delivery may not be eligible for review.
Wholesale & Custom
Are your products available for wholesale?
Yes. Gleaux Shop products are available for wholesale through Faire , which is available for wholesale customers only. If you have questions about wholesale ordering or product details, feel free to reach out via email at lindsey@gleauxshop.com or through our contact form.
Do you offer custom products/designs?
Yes. Please send all custom product inquiries—including candles for special events like weddings or birthdays—to lindsey@gleauxshop.com.

In-Person Shopping
Can I buy your candles in person?
We do not have a physical storefront; however, we have a handful of stockists and we do pop ups from time to time. Be sure to follow us on social media for more details!
Product Variations & Use
Why does my candle look slightly different from photos?
Gleaux Shop products are handmade and packed in small batches. Natural variations in color, scent strength, and finish are normal and part of the process.
Are your products intended for personal use?
Yes. All products are intended for personal use only and should be used according to the guidelines outlined on our Candle Safety page.
